Support the El Dorado Hills Library by shopping our Used Book Sales
Shopping our Used Book Sales provides funding for a significant portion of the support we channel to the library. Shoppers can find thousands of books in all genres, including children’s books, at incredible prices. Most shoppers are blown away by our selection, and best of all, all the proceeds go directly to fund the library’s collections, programs, and facility.

Volunteer at the book sale!
Volunteers are always needed to help with set up, shifts during the sale, and clean up. We appreciate all volunteers, but those who can bend and lift are especially needed. Please contact us if you can help!

Our book sales take place in the Library Community Room. Fridays are the Membership Presale date and are open to all members from 12 to 6 pm. Memberships may be purchased at the library, at the event, or by becoming a member online. Saturdays are free entry and open to all from 8 am to 4 pm. Most items are $1 per pound. DVDs and CDs are $1/each. The last hour of the sale on Saturdays from 2 to 4 pm is our $5/bag blow-out sale for all remaining items. Cash or check payment only, please.

You can always shop our books on sale in the Library’s lobby during open hours.
Amazon Storefront
We also offer rare and specialty used book sales through our Amazon Storefront. If you’ve ordered from us before, be sure to leave us a 5-star review! It really helps. And, if you have 2 – 4 hours per week to help list books for our Storefront, please get in touch.
